Baseball Recap: Lakeview Takes a Loss

The Lakeview Warriors lost 14-7 to the Brookfield Bobcats on Thursday.

Lakeview's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Brookfield, their victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1.

Lakeview will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Nonnewaug at 3:45 p.m. on May 12. As for Brookfield, they will be playing at home against Stratford at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
