Basketball Recap: Calvin Comes Up Short

Calvin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Claiborne Christian Crusaders, falling 78-57. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Crusaders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2018.

Calvin's loss dropped their record down to 8-20. As for Claiborne Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-12.

Calvin will take on Harrisonburg at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Claiborne Christian, they will challenge Gibsland-Coleman at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Claiborne Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests.
