Football Game Recap: Beau Chene vs. Vinton

After losing to Beau Chene the last time they met, Vinton decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Vinton put a hurting on Beau Chene to the tune of 46-7. Vinton were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.

The win bumped Vinton's record up to 3-2. Beau Chene are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-5.

Vinton will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Rosepine. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown. As for Beau Chene, they will face off against Breaux Bridge. Beau Chene stagger into the contest hobbled by five consecutive losses while Breaux Bridge skip in buoyed by three consecutive wins.
