Basketball Recap: Triway Takes a Loss

If Triway was riding high fresh off their 57-6 takedown of Rittman last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Triway Titans lost 59-33 to the Tuslaw Mustangs on Monday. The Titans haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Triway's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Tuslaw, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Triway will venture away from home to challenge Fairless at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tuslaw, they will square off against Northwest at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Northwest will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Tuslaw surely won't give up without a fight.
