Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Max Antonio and Adrian Dosela Lead Alchesay to Victory

Alchesay hadn't done well against Chinle recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Alchesay Falcons came out on top in a nail-biter against the Chinle Wildcats, sneaking past 64-62. This was a revenge game for the Falcons: when they faced off against the Wildcats back in December of 2024, they had to take a 45-43 defeat.

Alchesay was led to victory by Adrian Dosela and Max Antonio. Dosela went 6-for-10 en route to 17 points, while Antonio went 8-for-11 to rack up 20 points and three steals. What's more, Dosela also posted a 60% field goal percentage, which is the highest he's posted since back in December of 2024. Micah Yazzie was another key player, putting up nine points.

Alchesay's victory bumped their record up to 21-10. As for Chinle, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-10.

As of now, neither Alchesay nor Chinle have any future games scheduled.
