For the second straight game, West Valley will face off against Central Valley. The Eagles will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Falcons at 4:00 p.m. West Valley is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.9 runs per game this season.

Central Valley will be up against a hot West Valley team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Eagles' pitcher stepped up to hand the Falcons an 11-0 shutout on Tuesday. Considering the Eagles have won eight contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Not much got past Aiden Sweet, who gave up just a hit and racked up nine Ks to keep Central Valley off the board. Sweet has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Bryton Miller was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one double, and one RBI. Kale Springer was another key player, going 3-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: West Valley kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in June of 2025.

Central Valley's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 10-7-1. As for West Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 13-4.
