North Shore lost to Humble back in January, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The North Shore Mustangs walked away with a 62-50 win over the Humble Wildcats.

North Shore's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Da'Marcus Sloan led the charge by putting up 14 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Sloan has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last eight times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Marcus Walker, who posted 12 points.

North Shore's victory bumped their record up to 16-18. As for Humble, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 15-17.
