Volleyball Recap: Avon Lake Find Success

The Avon Lake Shoremen made easy work of the Normandy Invaders on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Avon Lake never let Normandy on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-17, 25-23.

Avon Lake's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-12. As for Normandy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.

Avon Lake wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Steele on the 5th. As for Normandy, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Brecksville-Broadview Heights on the 2nd.
