1. Germantown
2012-13 record: 28-0, Division 1 state champions
Head coach: Steve Showalter

The Warhawks enter the season riding a 56-game winning streak after going undefeated the last two years. The team lost Wisconsin Mr. Basketball Luke Fischer, who averaged 21 points and 9.4 rebounds per game and is now playing at Indiana. However, Germantown is stacked again, returning four senior starters: guards LaMonte Bearden Jr. (13.1 points per game, committed to Buffalo University) and Jake Showalter (11.6 points) and forwards Evan Wesenberg (8.3 points, 5.3 rebounds) and Jon Averkamp (5 points).

2. Dominican (Whitefish Bay)
2012-13 record: 24-4, Division 4 state champions
Head coach: Derek Berger

The 1-2 punch of guard Duane Wilson Jr. and big man Diamond Stone was the state’s best over the last two seasons. But with Wilson (23.8 points per game) graduating and playing at Marquette, the stage is set for Stone (17 points, 11.3 rebounds). The 6-9 junior is a beast in the paint and is rated the 13th-best player in the Class of 2015 by 247Sports. With three other starters back, the Knights have a great shot at winning their third-straight state title.

3. Hamilton (Milwaukee)
2012-13 record: 22-3
Head coach: Randy Williams

Everything starts with power forward Kevon Looney (26.1 points per game). The senior is rated No. 8 in the Class of 2014 and recently announced he will attend UCLA. Returning starters Danya Kingsby and Jhmad Norwood were valuable players last season.

4. Madison Memorial
2012-13 record: 21-5
Head coach: Steve Collins

Memorial has been a perennial state power the past decade, playing in the Division 1 state title game seven of the last nine years and winning three championships. Despite graduating their top two scorers, the Spartans have back five of their next six point producers. Tyler Lindquist (9.7 points, 5 rebounds per game) leads the way with Reggie Roemer and Daurice Fountain back in the starting rotation.

5. Hamilton (Sussex)
2012-13 record: 21-3
Head coach: Andy Cerroni

The Chargers are powered by Iowa commit Brady Ellingson. The shooting guard drained 78 3-pointers last season and averaged 21.3 points per game and 3.7 rebounds. If Hamilton hopes to advance past the regional playoffs, it will have to get help from its inexperienced post players.
