Basketball Recap: Fair Lawn Comes Up Short

Fair Lawn lost against West Milford back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Fair Lawn Cutters took a 48-30 bruising from the West Milford Highlanders. The Cutters have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West Milford's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Laurel Space, who went 6 for 10 on her way to 14 points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Amanda O'Brien, who posted six points in addition to 12 boards and four blocks.

Fair Lawn's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for West Milford, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 12-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fair Lawn has already played their next match (against Hackensack), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. West Milford has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Ramapo.
