Softball Recap: Bishop McCort Comes Up Short

Bishop McCort lost against Westmont Hilltop last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Sunday. The Crushers fell 7-2 to the Hilltoppers. The Crushers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bishop McCort saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hannah Pfeil, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run.

Bishop McCort's record is now 8-10. As for Westmont Hilltop, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.

Bishop McCort will venture away from home to challenge Greater Johnstown at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Westmont Hilltop, they will host River Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
