Verona's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Sun Prairie West Wolves as they made off with an 11-4 victory. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won four matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Verona's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Sun Prairie West, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.

Verona will face off against Janesville Parker at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Sun Prairie West, they will take on Janesville Craig at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.68 runs per game on average), something the Wolves will no doubt try to take advantage of.
