Baseball Recap: Burns Comes Up Short

Burns came into this matchup off a tough eight-run defeat last Wednesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the CHASE Trojans by a score of 4-2 on Monday. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2021.

Burns is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-3. As for CHASE, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-7.

Burns has already played their next game, a 5-1 win against Shelby on the 8th. As for CHASE, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 12-0 defeat against South Caldwell on the 8th.
