Cerritos had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it eight on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 15-4 margin over the Glenn Eagles. That's two games straight that the Dons have won by exactly 11 runs.

Ava Ceron made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching five innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in strikeouts (five). She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Daphne Linsangan, who fired off two home runs, four runs, and four RBI while going 3-for-3. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Emily Ruiz, who went 3-for-4 with seven RBI and one double.

Cerritos kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in eight consecutive games.

Cerritos' win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Glenn, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.

Looking ahead, Cerritos will look to defend their home field on Friday against Bishop Montgomery at 3:15 p.m. As for Glenn, they will take on Pioneer at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
