Basketball Recap: Eddyville Eagles vs. Willamette Valley Christian Warriors
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Camas Valley, Eddyville was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Willamette Valley Christian Warriors by a score of 40-33. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2021.
Eddyville's win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eddyville will look to take advantage of their home-court for the first time this season as they take on Southwest Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Willamette Valley Christian, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Oregon School for the Deaf at 5:30 p.m. on December 17th.
