Basketball Recap: Greenbrier Takes a Loss

Greenbrier was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 71-46 to the Station Camp Bison. If the Bobcats were looking for revenge after losing 50-40 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Ty Thurston continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Station Camp, going 9 of 13 en route to 25 points and three steals. The match was Thurston's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Seth Bailey, who went 5 for 6 on his way to 11 points and five rebounds.

Greenbrier's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Station Camp, they pushed their record up to 15-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Greenbrier Bobcats duke it out with the Portland Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Station Camp, they will take on Gallatin at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
