Football Recap: East St. John Starts Season with Defeat at Home

East St. John unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They received a blow on Thursday as they fell 21-7 to the St. Charles Catholic Comets.

Coming up, East St. John will head out on the road to take on St. James at 7:00 p.m. on September 5. As for St. Charles Catholic, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Newman at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
