Volleyball Recap: Memorial Takes a Loss

If Memorial was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of East Palestine on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Red Devils came up short against the Lake Center Christian Tiger on Monday, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-18, 25-16.

Elysia Rudolphi paced Memorial's offense, picking up ten kills. Rudolphi really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 34.

Leading Lake Center Christian to victory were Summer Brown and Kamden Maninga. Brown had nine digs and five aces, while Maninga had nine digs and two aces. That's the most aces Brown has posted over her last five matchups.

Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 20-4. As for Lake Center Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.

Memorial does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lake Center Christian, they will square off against McDonald at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
