Football Game Preview: Bureau Valley Storm vs. Farmington Farmers

The Bureau Valley Storm will face off against the Farmington Farmers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bureau Valley has given up an average of 36.1 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Bureau Valley had to suffer through a 48-12 loss at the hands of Hamilton/Warsaw. The Storm have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Farmington put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed past Lewistown/Cuba/Spoon River Valley to the tune of 42-0. Given the Farmers' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 131st, while the Miners are ranked 500th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Bureau Valley's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Farmington, their victory bumped their record up to 8-0.
