Cayden Cappelli put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April on Saturday. He struck out three batters over seven innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

Cappelli's strong effort led Dexter over Whiteford and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
