Volleyball Recap: Kennett Takes a Loss

Kennett suffered their biggest loss since September 18th on Monday. They came up short against the Saxony Lutheran Crusaders, falling 3-0. The Indians have struggled against the Crusaders recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

While Kennett ultimately came up short, they really made Saxony Lutheran work, particularly in the first set. The final score came out to 29-27, 25-13, 25-23.

Kennett's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 16-10. As for Saxony Lutheran, they moved to 12-18-1 with that win, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

Kennett has already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Sikeston on the 14th. Saxony Lutheran has also already played their next matchup (against Poplar Bluff), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
