Baseball Recap: Woodland Takes a Loss

Woodland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Philip Simmons Iron Horses, falling 15-6. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolverines of the 7-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Woodland's record now sits at 1-5. As for Philip Simmons, with the win, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-4.

While Woodland had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
