Volleyball Recap: Westminster Christian Find Success

Westminster Christian's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Parkway West Longhorns. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 win the Longhorns walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

Westminster Christian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 15-25, 25-13, 25-18, 25-16.

Parkway West's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ryan Vogelgesang, who had 11 digs and two aces. Another player making a difference was George Rusbacky, who had six digs and three aces.
