Soccer Recap: Washington Comes Up Short

Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 9-1 to the Iowa City West Trojans. Washington were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 6-0.

Washington's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Iowa City West, the win got them back to even at 2-2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Washington will face off against Davenport North at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Iowa City West, they will take on Bettendorf at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
