Basketball Recap: Spring Grove Starts Season with Victory on the Road

Spring Grove had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They took their matchup on Saturday with ease, bagging a 46-19 victory over North Fayette Valley.

North Fayette Valley is on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Spring Grove will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Lanesboro at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for North Fayette Valley, they will head out on the road to square off against MFL MarMac at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
