Softball Recap: Gulf Takes a Loss

Gulf and Hudson squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Gulf had to settle for second. They lost 6-0 to the Cobras. The Buccaneers have struggled against the Cobras recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Gulf saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alana Delaney, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Gulf's loss dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Hudson, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-9 record this season.

Gulf does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hudson, they will take on Pasco at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Pirates will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Cobras surely won't give up without a fight.
