Basketball Game Preview: Eastern Eagles vs. Southeastern Panthers

Having just played yesterday, the Eastern Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Southeastern Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Eastern's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight matchups.

On Friday, Eastern had just enough and edged Symmes Valley out 59-57. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by exactly two points.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Southeastern faced off against Paint Valley on Friday. Southeastern came out on top against Paint Valley by a score of 47-39. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Bearcats: they've now won four in a row.

Eastern pushed their record up to 16-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points over those games. As for Southeastern, their victory bumped their record up to 14-6.

Eastern strolled past Southeastern in their previous meeting back in March of 2018 by a score of 59-45. Will Eastern repeat their success, or does Southeastern have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
