Baseball Recap: Burbank Triumphs

Burbank proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by six) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Sheldon Huskies, sneaking past 3-1.

Burbank's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Kevin Duplessis, who scored a run and stole three bases while going 1-for-2.

Burbank's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Sheldon, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Burbank didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 4-1 loss against Laguna Creek on the 21st. As for Sheldon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 15-1 victory against Kennedy on the 24th.
