Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Central). They secured a 68-63 W over the Kalamazoo Central Maroon Giants on Monday. Given the Bearcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 162nd, while the Maroon Giants are ranked 346th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory was the sixth in a row for Central, bringing their record for this year to 9-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.5 points over those games. As for Kalamazoo Central, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.
