Volleyball Recap: Ursuline Academy Bears vs. Malden Catholic Lancers

Ursuline Academy waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Malden Catholic Lancers 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.
Ursuline Academy never let Malden Catholic on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-23, 25-17.
Carly Tarantola paced Ursuline Academy's offense, picking up nine kills. Tarantola got some help from Lauren Kelley and her ten assists. Kelley was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.
Ursuline Academy's victory bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Malden Catholic, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.
