Volleyball Recap: Miller Grove Gets the Win

Miller Grove won the last time they faced Cedar Grove and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Wolverines walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Saints.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Miller Grove took both sets by at least 18 points. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-7.

Payton Black was nothing short of spectacular: she had 15 aces. Those 15 aces gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jordan Gray, who had six aces.

Miller Grove's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Cedar Grove, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-3.

Looking ahead, Miller Grove will welcome Kendrick at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cedar Grove, they will venture away from home to challenge Newton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
