Regis won the last time they faced Archbishop Stepinac and things went their way on Monday too. The Raiders came out on top in a nail-biter against the Crusaders, sneaking past 8-7. That's two games straight that the Raiders have won by just one run.

Peter Manekas was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched six innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off only two hits. Manekas was also big at the plate, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Aidan Cha, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Evan Rosado, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Regis now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Archbishop Stepinac, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 6-6.

Regis will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Crusaders: the pair will be back at it again later today.
