            Softball Recap: Ysleta Indians vs. Bel Air Highlanders        
        
		
        
        
            Ysleta was the  12-0 winner over Bel Air when they last played one another  back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Ysleta Indians came up short against  the Bel Air Highlanders on Tuesday, falling  13-5.
 Savannah Jurado put in work while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out ten batters over  seven innings while giving up  five earned  (and eight unearned) runs off   nine  hits. Jurado was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 3-for-4. What's more,  she posted three  hits, the most she's  had since back in February of 2024.
 In other batting news,  Cienna Hernandez and  Victoria Garcia did some serious damage despite the final result:  Hernandez  went 1-for-4 with one  home run, while  Garcia  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3.  Emma Dominguez was another key player,  going 1-for-3 with two  RBI and one  double.
Ysleta now  has a losing record of 4-5-1. As for Bel Air, their victory  ended  a  five-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 1-12.
 Coming up, Ysleta will face off against Canutillo at 12:20  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Bel Air, they will challenge Coronado at 11:10  a.m.  on Thursday.
