Volleyball Recap: Jefferson Triumphs

Jefferson won the last time they faced Lomira and things went their way on Thursday too. The Eagles walked away with a 2-0 win over the Lions.

Olivia Stelse paced Jefferson's offense, picking up seven kills. Stelse got some help from Finley Sikora and her 13 assists. Sophia Harvey controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Jefferson's victory bumped their record up to 2-4.

After both having extra time off, Jefferson and Whitewater will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. on September 16. This will be the Eagles' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Lomira, they have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Columbus on the 28th.
