Softball Recap: Georgetown Takes a Loss

The Georgetown G-Men lost 9-2 to the St. Ursula Academy Bulldogs on Saturday. The G-Men have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ava Vest made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Georgetown's record now sits at 1-4. As for St. Ursula Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Coincidentally, Georgetown and St. Ursula Academy will both be playing Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington the next time they take the field. St. Ursula Academy will host Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Georgetown will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
