Ledyard had won two straight games and Jackson Favry did his part to make it three on Saturday. The Colonels walked away with a 58-45 victory over the Woodstock Academy Centaurs for which the team can thank Favry, who rushed for 401 yards and six scores while picking up 20.1 yards per carry. Thanks to that big game, he is now up to 18 rushing touchdowns on the season.

When it comes to explaining why Woodstock Academy lost, don't look at Eli Poh. Despite the final result, he threw for 297 yards and five TDs.

Ledyard's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Woodstock Academy, their loss was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-6.

Ledyard wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 63-24 victory against Stonington on the 14th. As for Woodstock Academy, they have also already played their next contest, a 35-19 win against Montville on the 14th.
