It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Hobbs had no problem doing just that on Friday. They put the hurt on the Eldorado Golden Eagles with a sharp 35-14 victory. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by 21 points or more this season.

Hobbs' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. The dominant performance gave Beaty a new career-high in rushing yards. Omarrion Kennedy was another key rusher, gaining 109 total yards and two touchdowns.

Hobbs didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Gustavo Diaz-Castro and Aiden Hoff. Diaz-Castro is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least six every time he's taken the field this season. Jacob Diaz was another major factor on D, making 12 total tackles (4.0 for loss) and defending a pass.

Hobbs was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 225 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 161 rushing yards in six consecutive matches.

When it comes to explaining why Eldorado lost, don't look at Daniel Quinones. Despite the final result, he rushed for 96 yards and a touchdown.

Hobbs is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 40.5 points per game. As for Eldorado, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 7-4 record.
