Soccer Recap: Lincoln Park Comes Up Short

Lincoln Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Western International Cowboys, falling 8-3. If Lincoln Park were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to Western International when the teams met back in April of 2016, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lincoln Park's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Western International, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-6.

Looking ahead, Lincoln Park will host Taylor at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Lincoln Park will be up against Taylor's rather soft defense (which has allowed seven goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Western International, they have already played their next game, a 4-3 win against Cass Tech on the 9th.
