Holmen is a perfect 10-0 against La Crosse Logan since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Vikings will look to defend their home field against the Rangers at 5:00 p.m.

Holmen blew La Crosse Central out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday La Crosse Central got their revenge. The Vikings fell just short of the Riverhawks by a score of 2-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Vikings have suffered since April 8th.

Meanwhile, La Crosse Logan earned a 12-7 win over Black River Falls on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rangers.

Kenna Streeck and Maria Weber did most of the damage at the plate: Streeck went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs, while Weber went 1-for-4 with three stolen bases, four runs, and one triple. Those two stolen bases gave Streeck a new career-high. Norah Reineking also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Holmen has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for La Crosse Logan, their victory bumped their record up to 4-12.

Everything went Holmen's way against La Crosse Logan in their previous matchup back in April, as Holmen made off with a 9-2 win. Do the Vikings have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rangers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
