Volleyball Recap: The Meadows School Snaps Six-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Fans were treated to a battle of the Mustangs on Saturday. The Meadows School took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Shadow Ridge. The game marked the first time this year in which The Meadows School was not able to get on the board.

While The Meadows School had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-18.

The Meadows School's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 3-3. As for Shadow Ridge, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

The Meadows School will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Virgin Valley at 6:00 p.m. on September 8. As for Shadow Ridge, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Buchanan on the 16th.
