Basketball Recap: Haralson County Takes a Loss

If Haralson County was feeling good fresh off their 79-57 takedown of Pepperell last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Haralson County Rebels lost 68-43 to the Model Blue Devils on Friday. The Rebels have struggled against the Blue Devils recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Haralson County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Model, their victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-2.

Haralson County won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Mt. Zion at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Mt. Zion will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Haralson County surely won't give up without a fight. As for Model, they and North Paulding will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
