League recap: Dubois tops HEM to extend winning streak

Dubois extended the longest winning streak in 6-Man North (6 Man) this week by beating HEM, 63-0. The victory was the sixth in a row for the team.

Meeteetse and Ten Sleep played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Meeteetse eventually emerging with a 74-70 victory.

Kaycee's dynamic duo of James Caro and Hayden Fauber proved tough for Little Snake River to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Caro threw for 253 yards and three touchdowns and Fauber had 130 yards receiving. Markus Koch helped Kaycee's passing attack out by catching two balls for 55 yards.

John Bartlett made the biggest impact on defense this week as Dubois defeated the Miners. The 5-foot-10 senior grabbed two interceptions and recorded one fumble.

Jesse Hawk was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 115 yards on five carries as David Trembly's team lost to the Rattlers. Teammate Sterling Baker added to the ground attack by rushing for 75 yards.

Kaycee's Caro and Fauber have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading 6-Man North (6 Man) in both passing and receiving yards. Caro has thrown for 1324 yards this season, while Fauber, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 29 catches for 628 yards. Baker from the Rams leads the league in rushing with 1041 yards.

The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Hulett and Dubois. The Devils comes into the matchup ranked seventh in the state, while the Rams ranks first.

The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Hulett takes on Dubois. Steve Colling's team has allowed 162 points this season, while the Rams have given up 114.

Dubois took down HEM 63-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Baker threw for 60 yards and one touchdown in the win.
