Softball Recap: Keystone Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Keystone can now relate to. They came up short against the South Range Raiders on Monday, falling 12-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Wildcats have suffered since April 1st.

Jordan Owca made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with four stolen bases, two RBI, and one double. That double was her first of the season.

This is the second loss in a row for Keystone and nudges their season record down to 15-10. As for South Range, they pushed their record up to 19-9 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Keystone does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Range, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Triway at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Raiders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Titans have averaged an impressive 9 runs per game this season.
