Basketball Recap: Olmsted Falls Now 5-1 over Last Six Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Red Bank Catholic, Olmsted Falls was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They secured a 44-38 W over the Central Dauphin Rams.

Several Rams players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Olivia Green, who posted six points in addition to seven rebounds and five steals. That's the most steals Green has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Mikayla Matincheck, who put up six points and ten rebounds.

Olmsted Falls is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.2 points per game. As for Central Dauphin, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 7-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Olmsted Falls will venture away from home to challenge Strongsville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Central Dauphin, they are taking a road trip to take on Harrisburg at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
