Football Recap: Delta Charter Comes Up Short

If Delta Charter was riding high fresh off their 52-6 takedown of Vidalia last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Storm had to suffer through a 69-24 loss at the hands of the Ferriday Trojans. The Storm lost against the Trojans in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 32-14 score last time.

Ferriday found their leader in sophomore Jase Harris, who threw for 199 yards and six touchdowns. Zylon Alexander helped Harris out on the ground, rushing for 113 yards and one TD on only 13 carries, while also catching one score.

Delta Charter's loss dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Ferriday, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, Delta Charter will be playing in front of their home fans against Logansport at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ferriday, they will head out on the road to challenge Delhi Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Trojans' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
