Basketball Game Preview: Greenville Christian Academy Knights vs. Pitt County P Pacers

The Greenville Christian Academy Knights will take on the Pitt County P Pacers in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Greenville Christian Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54 points per game this season.

Greenville Christian Academy took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They walked away with a 50-39 victory over Eastern Christian HomeSchool.

Greenville Christian Academy can attribute much of their success to Matthew Dove, who posted 19 points and four steals, and Berk Akcil, who put up ten points. That's the most steals Dove has posted since back in November of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaron Swanner, who had five points.

Meanwhile, Pitt County P was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a blow against New Bern Christian Academy, falling 62-19. The contest marked the Pacers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Greenville Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.2 points per game. As for Pitt County P, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.
