Softball Recap: Lackey Takes Down Gwynn Park in a Playoff Battle

It's playoff time, and Lackey had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Gwynn Park Yellowjackets 20-1 on Wednesday. The Chargers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Yellowjackets, too.

The win made it two in a row for Lackey and bumps their season record up to 8-11. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Gwynn Park, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-3.

Lackey has already played their next contest (against Huntingtown), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Gwynn Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
