Basketball Game Preview: Cascade Champions vs. Huntland Hornets

The Cascade Champions will take on the Huntland Hornets at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Cascade took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 48-38 win over Eagleville. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Champions as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Cascade's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kaegan Young, who posted 12 points. Another player making a difference was Caroline Parker, who put up 11 points.

Meanwhile, Huntland earned a 46-36 win over Forrest on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hornets.

Huntland is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season. As for Cascade, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
