Softball Recap: Wayne Hills Comes Up Short

Wayne Hills blew West Milford out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday West Milford got their revenge. The Patriots fell just short of the Highlanders by a score of 11-9. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor in this series.

Wayne Hills' loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for West Milford, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wayne Hills will square off against Northern Highlands at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for West Milford, they will take on Kennedy at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
