 Andy Espinoza was a  force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out seven over 4.1 innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in seven consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side, Varela saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Jiovanni Zara, who  went 1-for-3 with one  RBI.

As for Mater Academy Charter, they will welcome Atlantic  at 7:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Eagles will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more  runs each  game than the last.
